Track Team Performance with the new Label Studio Analytics

As data annotation projects scale, teams face a growing challenge: how do you effectively monitor work quality, optimize resource allocation, and ensure accurate compensation across your annotation workforce?

We've heard this challenge from teams managing everything from small annotation projects to enterprise-scale labeling operations. That's why we're excited to introduce the new Analytics, now available in Label Studio Enterprise.

Complete visibility into member performance

In this initial release, Analytics provides detailed insights into every aspect of your annotators and reviewers work:

  • For annotators, track work completed, annotation review outcomes, total time spent, average time per annotation, performance scores, and more.
  • For reviewers, monitor reviews completed, review outcomes, total time spent reviewing, average time to review, and other key metrics.
  • Member-by-member breakdowns let you see precisely how much work each user has completed and compare performance across your team.
  • Progress over time helps you track changes, identify trends, and spot outliers before they become problems.
  • Flexible filters for members, projects, and time ranges allow you to drill down into exactly the data you need.

Built for the entire team

Analytics isn't just a management tool, but rather it’s designed to empower everyone involved in the annotation workflow.

Annotators and reviewers can access their own analytics to understand their productivity and quality. They can see how much work they've completed, how much time they've spent, and the outcomes of their efforts (whether their work was accepted, required fixes before acceptance, or was rejected). This transparency helps team members improve their performance and take ownership of their work quality.

Managers gain the visibility they need to make informed decisions about resource allocation, identify training opportunities, and ensure fair compensation based on actual performance data.
